Review
Atlantis is a compact word processor which covers most of the basic word processing needs. The interface is really easy to use and intuitive, offering many customizable toolbars, sound effects, and useful hotkeys. It includes all standard text formatting features including spell check and auto-correction. However, the program lacks some fundamental options like the ability to copy the HTML address correctly,among others. It also includes a clip library that provides instant access to your frequently used images and snippets. font formatting previews, to name but a few. The application supports dynamic field values, integrated backup, creation of document templates, export to HTML, and 256-bit encryption to store sensitive documents. However, it doesn't support table layouts. The program is not even getting close to Microsoft Word's functionality and popularity, but it is a good processor for those who need to perform basic tasks and don't want to spend a lot of money in a more complete one. |
